Taboos for selecting the principle of customized hydraulic systems
Customized hydraulic systems represent a new technology for mechanical transmission. China's hydraulic industry began in the 1950s. Its products were first applied to machine tools and forging equipment, and then to tractors and construction machinery. Since 1964, when some production technologies of hydraulic components were introduced from abroad and hydraulic products were independently designed, China's hydraulic components have formed a systematic series from low pressure to high pressure and are widely used in various mechanical equipment. Let's take a look at the principle selection taboos of customizing hydraulic systems together!
1.Customize the safety design of the hydraulic system
The hydraulic system and equipment must be restricted (specified) to the maximum pressure, that is, the rated pressure 1 or the maximum working pressure, the nominal pressure and the following usage conditions. Except for the hydraulic power source using pressure-compensated variable pumps, the general system must be equipped with one or more relief valves to limit the pressure of all parts of the hydraulic system. In particular, consider installing an relief valve in the piston rod chamber of the cylinder to ensure that the pressure increase caused by the area difference of the piston does not exceed the rated pressure limit of the cylinder.
The relief valve is used to control the pressure value inside the chamber. When the pressure exceeds the set pressure, it is usually reduced through the relief valve, and the overflowing hydraulic oil is directly returned to the oil tank.
It is contraindicated that the hydraulic system does not have a pressure-limiting device or a pressure-indicating device.

2. Practical Design taboos for Customized Hydraulic systems
No redundant circuits shall be set in the hydraulic system. The control functions of a hydraulic system, including control accuracy, can only be selected and designed within the range that existing components can achieve. Excessive control design may lead to "redundancy".
Take the throttle circuit as an example. Generally, inlet throttling (inlet throttling), return flow speed regulation, and bypass speed regulation should not occur simultaneously in one hydraulic system, nor should two identical throttle valves be set up and installed in one pipeline.
Except for designs aimed at enhancing the safety of hydraulic systems, designs with "redundancy" in hydraulic systems are prohibited.
The applicability of the hydraulic system must be characterized by inspectability and maintainability, and necessary instruments and meters for pressure, flow, temperature, etc. must be installed. Necessary inspection and testing ports must be ensured; The necessary disassembly and assembly space must be sufficient.
The hydraulic system should not be inspected or maintained.
Hydraulic transmission devices and controls themselves also have many disadvantages such as speed range, response time (speed) control accuracy, hydraulic shock, environmental temperature, noise and vibration. Therefore, they should be combined with other transmission devices and control forms as needed to optimize and improve the practical performance of the entire machine
It is prohibited to design hydraulic systems and circuits with unstable (operating conditions and situations).
3. The economy and design taboos of customized hydraulic systems
In addition to the hydraulic system and circuit design being simple and practical, the selection of hydraulic components must also be based on the premise of meeting the functions, and components with lower prices should be chosen. For instance, gear pumps should be given priority for hydraulic pumps, throttle valves should be preferred for throttle valve speed regulation, and check valves should be preferred for back pressure circuits, etc.
The connection form between hydraulic components is very important. For high-pressure and high-flow hydraulic systems, in addition to giving priority to using 2-port insertion type hydraulic valves, there are also plate valves, tube valves, insertion valves, threaded insertion valves, etc. The number of pipes and the number of bends are small. The brand of hydraulic equipment is also very important, which is generally clearly stipulated in the contract between the supplier and the buyer. In addition, in order to support the development and progress of national industries, domestic self-owned brand hydraulic products are used. By choosing simple connection forms and readily available hydraulic components, the manufacturing period of hydraulic systems can be shortened, which helps to reduce costs and improve economic benefits.
